TE Connectivity has added two new wireless pressure sensors to its portfolio: a 65xxN wireless pressure sensor, for short-range coverage, and 69xxN wireless pressure sensor, for long-range coverage.
Designed for periodic condition monitoring, the 65xxN wireless pressure sensor leverages BLE (Bluetooth low energy) 5.3 communications, to support localized data collection and transmission. Given the widespread presence of Bluetooth in industrial equipment, the transition to BLE sensors is both pragmatic and efficient. The 65xxN wireless pressure sensor harnesses the power of BLE technology to offer both optimal battery performance and adaptability to various pressure conditions. It is also compact in nature and designed to easily fit into tight spaces and diverse environments.
Engineered with LoRaWAN technology, the 69xxN wireless pressure sensor offers long-range coverage over several kilometers, low power consumption enabling extended battery life, and scalability to support numerous devices within a single network. This compact sensor fits effortlessly into various environments, from tight spaces to remote infrastructures, and offers wide pressure sensing range, reducing the need for multiple sensors, and simplifying system integration. What’s more, 69xxN wireless pressure sensor’s extended battery life and customizable transmission thresholds significantly lower maintenance frequency and enhance system reliability.
With robust security features for data protection and certifications for use in hazardous areas, both the 65xxN and 69xxN series wireless pressure sensors are not only reliable, but also safe for critical applications and high-risk areas.
