Humphrey Products is expanding the line of products suitable for use in the medical and analytical markets with the introduction of the iDP Valve family. Humphrey iDP are a series of inert media separation valves, specifically designed for aggressive liquids and gases.
The 300 and 350 Series iDP models are efficient 2-port valves constructed of material suitable for bodily fluids, aggressive chemicals and cleaners, and elevated liquid temperatures. The flexing diaphragm-poppet isolates media from the solenoid, within an inert body material, ensuring long life and sustained performance. 3-port models coming soon.
Typical markets and applications include: Clinical Diagnostics, Analytical Chemistry, Agent Detection, Environmental Monitoring, Food and Beverage, and Gaseous Flow Control. The valves were developed and marketed by South Bend Controls for several years, and moved to Nogales, Mexico when they were acquired by Curtiss-Wright. After Humphrey acquired the products in 2015, the manufacturing moved to Humphrey’s Kalamazoo, Michigan facility.
Founded in 1901, Humphrey Products is a producer of pneumatic and fluid handling products, including valves and cylinders, and the design and manufacturing of valve systems via their Engineered Solutions group. Humphrey’s products are proudly made in the USA and used in a variety of applications in medical, process control, manufacturing automation, transportation, analytical instrumentation, packaging and material handling.
